Keith and Sandy Metzger from Elmira, ON were the founders of Women’s Sledge Hockey in Canada. Keith was the head coach and Sandy was the team manager from 2007 – 2014. An individual(s) who goes above and beyond to promote the female side of the game of para hockey.

The Jean Lane Award // Prix Jean Lane
Jean Lane from Medicine Hat, AB created SHIP (Sledge Hockey and Ice Picking) which was the group of individuals that brought sledge hockey to the rest of Canada. This award recognizes an organization who has gone above and beyond to support Women’s Para Hockey of Canada. This could be a para hockey club, a municipality, a company or organization WPHC works with.
Jean Lane, de Medicine Hat, AB a créé SHIP (Sledge Hockey and Ice Picking), un groupe de personnes qui a fait connaître le hockey sur luge au reste du Canada. Ce prix reconnaît une organisation qui s'est surpassée pour appuyer Parahockey féminin du Canada. Il peut s'agir d'un club de hockey sur luge, d'une municipalité, d'une entreprise ou d'un organisme avec lequel WPHC travaille.
Who can attend?
Members of Women’s Para Hockey of Canada / Parahockey féminin du Canada in good standing may attend the Virtual AGM. Guests are also welcome to attend the meeting, but will not have the right to vote or be heard.
