Osteoporosis Canada works to educate, empower, and support individuals and communities in the risk-reduction and treatment of osteoporosis.

Bones have many important roles in the body including providing structure and protecting vital organs. Protecting your bone health is easier than you think. Understand how diet, physical activity, and other lifestyle factors can affect your bone mass. Also, keep your bones and yourself healthier by limiting the risks and damage that can happen as a result of a fall.

What technical set-up do I need? If you’ve never joined a Zoom call before here is a link to an informative and easy to follow YouTube video Joining a Zoom Call for the First Time
Do I have to use the video image? No. You can choose to start your video or not. If you choose not to you will still be able to see the presenters and participate.
Can I just call in? Yes. When you register you will receive login details including call-in options.
What about privacy? We’ll be hosting virtual meetings through Zoom for Healthcare, a platform that is geared to protect registered participants’ privacy.
Can I ask questions? Yes. After our guest speaker completes their presentation we will have a Q & A period. You will be able to either ask your question live or if you wish you can type in your question and we will ask it for you.
Will you record the event and repost? We plan to record the event and make it available to those unable to attend. You can choose to appear in the recording or not simply by enabling/disabling your video.
Can I join no matter where I live? Yes. This is a virtual event so it doesn’t matter where you are joining us from.
